Do you offer a trial?
Yes!
We come to you. A trial is highly recommended. You will get to know
your stylist/ makeup artist. See how the style/ makeup lasts, make sure
there are no allergic reactions, know what look you are going to have,
and what it looks like.
What happens at a trial?
The makeup artist will discuss what look you are going for; natural,
exotic, etc. You can also bring pictures of what you want. You will be
made up how you want to look for your event. What kind of makeup you
want, eyelashes etc. will all be done at the trial.
Now I had a trial, I loved it, and want to book for my event. How does this work?
You
will fill out a contract with the stylist/ makeup artist. All the
details of the event, and what is needed will be on the contract. A
deposit is also required to reserve your day, which will go towards the
event. The balance will be due on the day of event.
What if I don't sign the contract?
This does not guarantee your day, and the team member will not be hired for the job.
I don't want to pay by cash, what are my other payment options?
We accept pay pal, checks and money orders made out to Carla Williams. Cash is preferred!
What happens on the day of the event?
Our
staff arrives at your location with all materials. They then do the job
that was discussed at the trial. If you want to add or subtract
services, that's fine. The appropriate staff and materials will be there
for what is stated on the contract.
What if I don't have a trial?
You
will be asked to make a deposit and fill out a contract, which will
guarantee your day & our staff. Arrangements will be discussed. If
it is last minute, we can still accommodate you.
I might need someone to stay to touch ups, is that possible?
Yes! We charge $30 for the first hour, $20 for every hour after. Rates begin when you leave for the event.
What should I wear?
A button or a zip down shirt. We don't want to mess up your beautiful hair and makeup!
What is the difference between airbrush and regular makeup?
Airbrush
makeup makes your skin look luminous, flawless. It also stays on longer
than regular makeup. You can airbrush foundation, concealer, eyeshadow,
liner, even lipstick. We do charge $20 extra for airbrush makeup.
What is Airbrush Tanning?
Airbrushing
any part of your body that you would like to be tanned. It can just be a
little color, or you can look like you just went to St. Tropez! Whats
the difference between airbrush and Mystic tan? Airbrush is customized
by a professional. Mystic leave you orange, and also might miss some
spots. How long does it last? Up to one week. But you can keep it up
with a good self tanner.
If I want to come to you, where are you located?
We are strictly mobile for your convenience.
Tips:
Before
your event we highly recommend that you have your brows threaded, (not
waxed, as waxing can sometimes leave you with red bumps or scabs)
If
you are getting a facial please so this 3-4 days before in the event
that you have a reaction, it will most likely be healed by the time of
your event
Chemical Peels are recommended 2-3 weeks prior to your event for extra clear smooth skin
Keep your lips moisturized prior to your event by using Chapstick daily
Drink LOTS AND LOTS of water, this will make your skin clearer and more luminous
